the waiting is a live rock/alternative/acoustic music event that happens in hounslow every 6 weeks or so - it is open to all.

expressions - 18th july

thewaiting returned with an event that was part-Waiting and part...something else...

the evening felt a lot like the best of past waiting events, with a superb performance from jon bilbrough (www.jonbilbrough.com) plus other favourites, including andrew malek, a reformed seventember and some excellent home grown talent.

earlier in the afternoon was the “something else” bit.   from 5pm we were pushing the boundaries of how we connect to God through music and other creative arts.  this included some discussion/workshop time followed by some creative worship through improvisation, contemporary worship songs and other arts. 

it was wonderful to see so many people at both events.

our building is now out of action while refurbishment takes place, but we are taking time out to think how we should take things forward into the future.  So if you have ideas please get in touch, otherwise watch this space!
